Introducing Hannah and Claire, Textile Artists and Designers from the north-west who met while studying for their Masters in Textiles in the Manchester School of Art.
Now based in Central Manchester, they have collaborated to deliver textile workshops in the heart of the city, at Grit Studios.
Lets introduce ourselves..
I am Hannah, one half of Studio Texteal
– I love all things embroidery and completely fell in love with the mediative qualities it holds.
– I have created kits so you can enjoy it too @colourflobargello
– I have taught throughout my varied careers in the hospital setting and in schools
– I love swimming, running and paddleboarding
– I have far too many houseplants
– I can’t wait to design, create and connect with new people who want to make lovely things for themselves and others.

I’ve been a maker and crafter all my life, and last year I decided to really challenge myself and push the boundaries of my creative practice by starting an MA Textiles at Manchester Metropolitan University. It’s been fantastic so far….I’m half way through and loving every minute of it!
Whilst on the course I met Hannah and we decided to bring together our love of making and all things textiley to form StudioTexteal, we can’t wait to share some amazing workshops with you using lots of different textile materials and processes.
